Project synopsisSun Lee produces still life photography with a focus on form, surface and materiality for the likes of Audi, Google, Nike and Wired. Working across editorial and commercial campaigns, his unique precision and minimalist approach generate images which are both exact and illusory.
The new visual identity foregrounds Sun’s photography with a minimal and monochromatic design. A custom hairline glyph set introduces contrast within a highly condensed display face, and complements the technical character of the Px Grotesk body copy used across print and web.
The vertical height of the display letterforms are echoed in the tall format of the print campaign. Designed to be retained as a resource and reference for commissioning agencies; an embossed slip case holds up to 12 photographic cards with the flexibility to curate the contents in line with specific interests or themes.
