Project synopsisNice Productions are a London-based film production company creating forward-thinking video content. Their unique collaborations have documented projects including the Teatum Jones × Google Global Womanhood initiative, with video content produced alongside an original score to accompany the Teatum Jones AW18 show and London Fashion Week. Polytechnic designed the original brand identity and website in 2012 and further developed the aesthetic in 2018.
The original identity drew on the graphic motif from focus test cards and paired Old Standard TT and Helvetica typefaces. Preserving brand familiarity, the evolution developed this language with an expanded series of visual assets and refined the logo mark, palette and typographic treatment to reflect the company’s maturity and growth. Retaining the Old Standard TT as a logo type, the revised identity introduced Sabon as a body typeface, with the thicks and thins of its characters lending a new warmth and elegance to the brand.
As part of the development the original website’s project index was re-conceptualised as an intimate showreel with selected case studies.
